TwitIn- A solution for your daily Twitter requirement

Earlier this year, Eric Schmidt called Twitter a ‘Poor man’s email system’ and by October Google had an agreement with Twitter to include its updates in search results. Everyone is talking about Twitter from News houses to blogging portals. Twitter has taken networking to another level altogether and the power of 140 characters is forming the marketing platform for most enterprises.

The first time you log into Twitter, it can be quite intimidating. There are numerous tools available on web to help you get started on Twitter. The first thing that you need to do is to install one of the desktop applications on your system. Few of the apps you could choose from are Tweetdeck (http://www.tweetdeck.com/beta/) , Seesmic (http://seesmic.com/) , Buzzom (http://www.buzzom.com/BuzzomLab#buzzomdesktoplabel)

Once you have those tweet managers, you need something to help you with managing your connections. TwitIn, an offering from Buzzom is a great tool which lets you manage your followers and followings as well as your account.

TwitIn started with offering three major functions to its users:

Flush: This helps you in removing all those users from your account who are not following you back.

Grow: This helps you in growing your network by following new people.

Reciprocate: This helps you in following those users who are following you.

In each of these functions, you have lock/ unlock facility by which you can restrict some users to be flushed, reciprocated or added in your account.

One of the best and most loved features of Twitter is the easiest way in which you can connect with anyone. To get the best out of Twitter, it’s important you connect to the right person. It’s not possible to find the right people on twitter without any help. TwitIn comes to your rescue with ‘People Search’. You can search people by their ‘Bio’ or their ‘tweets’ and either add them manually or ‘select all’ and add them by one click.

Another very useful feature that TwitIn has is ‘Cross Follow’. Most of the time we are connected to people we can relate to and we can grow our network just by following their followers. ‘Cross Follow’ lets you follow the followers or followings of other Twitter users. Just enter the Twitter Id and add them.

So, you have been using Twitter for some time now. Wouldn’t you want to know how you have been performing in the Twitter world? Check out your Buzzom Score in your profile page. This presents some fast statistics on your Twitter profile.
