Toondoo – a very thoughtful effort !
Ever wonder as a blogger , about how to take your blog to the next level and make the experience memorable for your readers ? There are many ways to do this , the simplest of them would be , to make pictorial support to your posts or better still to make a completely pictorial post ! But not many of us have the gift of artistry and visual implementation . If you are one of the good writers who is artistically challenged , then Toondoo is just the thing for you . If you have an imagination and can imagine a funny scene , you can create a cartoon here !!
I was introduced to Toondoo by Meera , one of my earliest twitter buddies . She is an evangelist for Toondoo . I visited her blog and complimented her for her work and she replied saying that I could create cartoons too , I was happy that I could and started exploring the site . I registered as as a user and started exploring . The interface is easy on the eyes , loads really fast and works pretty well on a low speed DSL connection too . The various tools that the site has are also thoughtfully presented and their location on the site makes it easy to find them . The site has the following tools
- Toondo maker : For creating toons
- Traitr : For creating characters that you can re-use wherever you want
- Bookmaker : For creating your own books of toons
- Doodler : For doodling
To use all these , you just need simple logical thinking that works like this . There are central characters that do the talking . They are standing in a scene and there are some objects in the backdrop . Based on what you are trying to say choose a character , a backdrop and the props . Pretty neat and nifty . My favorite feature is the ability to have caricatures of people like Obama available ready to use in your cartoon ! It gives you immediate toon power to go and rock the world ! .
My Rating of Toondo : ROCKING !! GO FOR IT !!
Try it and tell me !
